THe fastest I have been (driving) is in my old teg. It topped out at 146mph. My current a4 tops out at about 138mph....but is rev limited. I bet with a 2.8 tranny I could hit 165mph in it....np.

A friend of mine, back in Germany, at the time, had a wife that worked for OpelAG in Russelsheim. He told me that OpelAG also had an "insider's" engine, a TT 3.0 V6 with something like 390hp/425tq, cost $14,000.00 US, and you HADDA know somebody who know somebody, to get one. This was about a decade ago.
