If anyone hates on Brett they have issues! I know a few Favre haters... He has to be one of the most genuine football players ever. He just loved to play the game and wasn't cocky. He will be missed for sure!

Ya I'm sure that Bears, Vikes andLions fans won't be missing him. I'm along way from a Packer fan but Brett is one the all time greats.I can't think of another player whohasshown more exuberance for the game. Plus he helped my fantasy team win it all again this year.

hmmm... damn you're hard on the boy, Kelly- Brett's one of the most genuine players in the game today - simply for the love of playing. Wasn't all about the money, never bitched endlessly about the team around him or how great he was performing above anyone else.

He'd take a direct hit, get up smiling and pat the guy who hit him as if he was on his team doing a great job. Not only that - but he never missed a start in any game - even preseason ones. No disrepect to Ripkin, but Brett was a true ironman. Doubt Carl could have lasted as longif baseball was a full contact sport.

So, if he breaks down when he says he's leaving the one thing he loved the most - you gotta cut him some slack, Kelly... sheesh!

The fact he played all of his games still blows me away. Especially at position where the guys who are trying to rip your head off are 100+ pounds heavier and, in alot of cases these days, are just as fast. Thankfully, I was lucky enough to have seen him play in person a few times, Althoiugh he broke my heart with that 82yd game ender on Mon. night in Denver this past season.

Yes you are supposed to cry.

He is the greatest man to ever play that game, as well as a player. He is the most genuine and passionate person i have ever seen when it comes to the game of football. He is a man OF the game. It has never been about money, fame and all the riches that come with being the best of the best. It has always been about the game, the team and the fans. God bless him for representing football in a way that nobody else has. He is trully a Legend, as well as a hero to many people.

And if he wants to cry when its time to say goodbye to the ONLY THING that he has ever known, than so be it. He has all the right in the world. He has earned every bit of it.

If you cant appreciate that, then you have no business making stupid remarks like that.
