We Need A New Tread

ON the topic of father hood, I'm not sure what I would do, but I would imagine my thoughts about it will change with the years.,
Sure as a 19year old I'm saying I'll let or even help my children get some alcohol when they are in HS, but I would imagine that my ideals might change.
And I'm sure your ideals will change also when you become a father.

Being a father is like the near final step for a guy. You start looking at life less selfishly and more intensely. Your heart opens up to new emotions and old ones you've suppressed. Your child will make you laugh and cry but will never make you sorry you became who you are now.
Most can handle it - some unfortunately cannot.
You don't get a manual or instruction booklet - you just know that the child in front of you will become a partial reflection of yourself. The trick is to show them the best you can offer, which in turn makes you a better man.
How can that be a bad thing?
