Im so jealous! I love the feel of the S4 4.2 can only guess how great that car will be! Now working out the best way to get 350hp in a 2.8 probly supercharged because I don't want turbo lag and its much cheaper. A 2.8 cuz I can't stand the lack of off the line torque in the 1.8's.

Sell the car and get an S4.... only way you're going to get 350+hp from an Audi V6 (with the obvious exception of the new supercharged 3.0L)

Good luck getting 350hp in a 2.8... the PES system doesn't even hit 300, I don't think. A supercharger's going to give you 40-50% gain tops... to go from 190->350 is substantially more.

2.7 and 2.8 arent the same engines. the 2.7 is more like the 1.8t than the 2.8. Theres alot more to the 2.7T than 2 turbos and some piping. If you want an easily tunable audi that has some displacemnt and is also forced induction the S4 is where you should turn. Unless your spending ludacris ammounts of money on completely boring out the motor and building it the 2.8 isnt going to compare to a STOCK 2.7t. And even then your better off building a 2.7 and putting it in an s4.
the 2.8 isnt a tuner car, its a daily driver.
If your dead set on keeping your car your best and cheapest bet would be an S4 APB swap.

Thats true, in the past 2-3 years prices have plumeted. Right now i could buy a stage 3+ S4 with lots of good mods for what i spent on my S4 in May 06. Kind of depressing but iv still got low miles and im going stage 3 this spring so its all good.
