This is a video of a small recital type show we had at my college. I played a song called Road Song by Wes Montgomery, it's a jazz tune with a latin rock feel. I'm on guitar (the one without the bandana), the other guitar with the bandana is Ian, Zach on bass, and Milo on drums. We collectively worked on the arrangement of the tune together. All solo's are improvised. The arrangement is...

2) My solo 0:57 - 1:46

3) Ian's solo 1:47 - 2:33

4) Ian and I trading solos, starting with me and then going back and forth. (my favorite part) 2:34 - 3:23

5) Back to the Head and end it. 3:24 - end

good thing i wasn't sittin in one of those chairs, cuz i would have been movin to the music. that was really good!!!

hm...probably for about a month. we didn't have many chances to rehearse all together as a band. i think we rehearsed the tune maybe 5-6 times as a whole.

Not really, this was the first time we had ever really played together. Unfortunately Zach (bass) and Milo (drums) won't be at our college anymore next semester. But I'm sure they'll be around.

I have thought about recording stuff of course though, no matter who it was with. Ian and I are working on a repritore together, we wanna start gigging with atleast just the two of us.

 

You definitely should, even if it is just two of you. You seem to work really well with that genre of music.

 

Hmmm..sounds good...but I am more into Trance genre! Sad, not many people in America knows or likes it.
