Adobe Premiere can be fun when you learn how to use it and get to play around with it.

I'll give you that, PS is POWERFUL.

The only problem I see is that when it comes to Web Design, you don't always need the power of PS to generate a simple header or graphics for a site. Fireworks is so much easier to work in, and is more or less taylored specifically to working and integrating with Dreamweaver, which again, I think is superior to GoLive. All my opinion. I just think that Macromedia is more Web oriented and then Adobe would be more Graphics editing/Publishing, etc. I haven't used their video editing software, as Apple's FCP is all I've ever used. I don't think anyone can disagree that FCP is by far the leader in Video editing. If it wasn't the pro's wouldn't be using it so heavily.

OK, Adobe Premiere is great for the PC platform and so is Pinnacle. I found Pinnacle takes a lot less hard drive space and is very straight forward and easy to use, whereas Premiere is very technical and you will NEVER use all of the features and functions made available to you with it.
