Well, usually I am pretty hardcore about specifying to use USPS or even fed-ex, when it's coming accross the border... but, this time, as commication was somewhat slow between me and the seller, I just never mentioned it. I wasn't concerned anyways, hey were 40 dollars, and weighed 1 pound... there's no way you can suggest that I should have seen a 49 dollar bill coming.

I mean, I sort of see what you're saying... but you're wrong. I do know how these things work, and I DO feel strongly about how bad UPS is in these situations... but, the one thing I am guilty of is underestimating their shittiness.

UPDATE:

So yeah, the guy sent in all the required stuff, put in a new value of 20 dollars... and now I owe UPS 13.77...

6.90 of that is "preparation charges"
5.85 is the FEE for them paying my taxes (which I then pay back, plus the 5.85 service fee)
the rest is tax on UPS's service... then an aditional 1.60 which is the 8% tax on the actual 20 dollar item (the only fee that makes sense, in my eyes)

So yeah, the TOTAL fees, UPS + tax on the ITEM, was 15.28...

But yeah, back to UPS's 13.77... 13.77 on a 20 dollar item. What a bunch of ***** bags. There fees added 69% to the price of the item.

What can brown do you for you? (Do they mean, what can they do for you OTHER than jam it up your ***?)

EDIT: Oh, and I saved myself 4.25+tax by paying over the phone... otherwise it would have been 4.25 (+ the tax) more, for a C.O.D. fee! they've got fee's for everything! lol, umm, this is the fee for us collecting our other fees... brilliant!
