Actually, Redgoat the cell thing does work. (I know at least on the 05 G35) My friend had 1 and gave me his key told me to walk down the block and call him. He told me to press unlock and hold it while he put the phone by the transmiter, then he opened the door and i bought the beer that night.

Hey not a bad idea then you should be able to get an even bigger place without having a roommate! After having them on hold for 5 min. have a message that says please call back later are systems are currently busy.

 

the standard phone thing Ive never thought it would work but the PDA is a computer and phone so it could be possible to interact with the cars computer via bluetooth and yes you ban buy software for the pda to do just that,

didn't you guys ever watch that advert where the guy locks his keys in the car then me makes a phone call to a breakdown network company and they unlock his car ( breakdown cover I think they called it ) but true never the less

you can unlock some 03 mercedez with a universal remote for a tv. It was in a hacker magazine called 2600 i have it to this day.
The second link is a spoof, it works of the theory of old tone payphones to get free calls by playing back a sound signal of a quarter being inserted. people made tone generators and they worked, but even that is over 10 years old
