Ok... so I know you guys are SICK of my wheel polls by now so let me give u an update... This is MY LAST wheel poll because I decided to go Replica... but which one is the question


Sooo I decided to dust off my photoshop skills and do some chopping...

R8 Wheels (Gunmetal/Machined)



RS4 Wheels (Gunmetal)



Painted Ultra Sport Wheels (2 Versions... the first 1 looks too cartoony)

 

Out of all the wheels, I would probably go with the RS4 replicas. That's just my opinion though.

You should really go with the wheels you like/preffer instead of asking for other's judgements. Because after all, it is your car and you're the one who's driving it.

 

yea I know but I like all three.... so I ask for second opinions

 

Those R8 wheels are hella sweet. GET A DOZEN!

R8 wheels. What nice big rear brakes your car has in photoshop mode!

 

R8 do not suit the car at all... they're too futuristic looking or something. They work on the R8... not on the A4... not even a newer B7 A4.
I owned the B7 RS4 wheels on my 2004 A4 Ultrasport... and did not like them. I had them in 18"... perhaps 19's would look better.
In my opinion, the nicest wheels I had on my Ultrasport were the stock 18" B5 RS4 wheels that it came with... or the "celebrations" as I believe they were called. In 19's, they'd have been really really nice. I'd go B5 RS4 wheels, in SILVER... Black looks like ***, imho. Silver on a dolphin gray car is uber clean.

 

r8's and rs4's are too similiar, the only difference is the price.. youch.....

 

My first choice would be the R8 reps but they'll only look good in 19" or 20", AND with a big brake kit. The RS4 reps would also look great but they're kinda played out now. The good thing is either choice will look good on the dolphin gray. IMO onxy black would really compliment that color.

 

Skip the R8 wheels.

Go for the RS4 wheels.
