RE: Took a taser ride today, Wowskies
dropped a live 110 wire onto a metal table I was leaning against. That was a fun ride.
I have about 8 years of welding under my belt now, while not the same as a taser, I've been bit a couple times. Best one was while i was holding a 2-stroke exhaust while a guy welded a flange on the end. Had to hold it upright, and slowly spin it while he welded. I got a little tingle up my arm from the poor ground, that steadily got stronger as I spun the thing. Eventually I was forced to drop it, it was involuntary. I checked my pocket watch a little after, and it was 6 hours fast!

All this talk of tasers made me want to watch some people get tased. Lol. This is badass, this guy gets tased while running and then rips the barbs out.

Read the bottom... like I said a very small chance, certainly not enough of a risk to not use them.... but they arent 100% safe like you claim
"The mortality rate was also significantly different between "tasered" victims (1.4%), and gunshot wound victims (50%) (P less than .05). Possible complications associated with Taser wounds included contusions, abrasions, and lacerations (38%); mild rhabdomyolysis (1%); and testicular torsion (0.5%). Although 48% of "tasered" patients required hospitalization, all but one was for a preexisting injury or toxic or psychiatric problem. We conclude that Tasers are relatively safe when compared to shooting with more conventional weapons."
There ya go published and peer reviewed papers.
and some more evidence

^^Actually, I've read in several places that a reasonable frequency of masturbation in males in their twenties can lead to a reduced risk of prostate cancer later in life; mostly due to "flushing" out the system on a regular basis. /Off Topic
But that's pretty cool that you did that. Did it leave any marks/burns?

That is one doctor's opinion. Show me a case where the medical examiner's final report lists the primary cause of death asTaser. You can find an opinion from a doctor to support or oppose anything on the internet, as I recall we had a thread where one doctor boasted jerkin off was good for you. Countless tests have been conducted which show that the Taser does not alter the heart rhythm at all. We even had a volunteer who took a hit for 1 minute 30 seconds, all his vitals were stable for the entire duration. How this man walks around with ***** that large, I may never know. Is there going to be a case eventually where some freak accident happens and the Taser is eventually found to be the cause of death, yup. I will of course concede that nothing is 100% safe. Even OC spray has killed people. So far the track record is perfect, however there is one case in Frederick County MD where the ME is still unsure. Sadly some ME's around this area don't believe in Excited Delirium. Regardless, great tool. We finally have a way to put down knife and blunt weapon wielders without firing a round into their head.
