thats gorgeous! I heard from one of the VP's at a dealership I was at, that AoA is making the dealerships build like a 100k diagnostic station just for the R8's. and if the dealer does not have it, they won't get the R8. Thats just insane man!

 

You don't have to give a nut to drive the R8, only $595.

If I was dirt rich and sh|tting out money sure i'd buy one. But... even if i made over 130k....i dont see my forking out loot to ever for something like that. At least not as long as i live in a huge CITY like Chicago.

The R8 for the public derives from the R8 racecar.

Next year (as in 09 model in 08) the R8 will be available with a V10. (570-hp 5.2 L rumored atm)

They currently have test mules that are pushing well beyond 600hp with that engine and its turbocharged. Much like in the upcoming RS6.

We actually might see an R8-S sometime in the very near future.

 

Damn, that RS4 is seriously badass! Hey, driving either of those wouild have made my day.
