awddef makes a dif, i am not a fan of having to jack the tire pressure in order to settle down some squirrely rubber. i had no complaints with the dunlops i was runnin. some meat head decided to replace the line with a tire of lesser quality/performance. so far my reasearch is leaning me towards the yokohama avid. reviews on tire rack and epinions are all good.

 

i have yokos on my '01 a4 right now. i've had them for about a year and they are a great all season performance tire. they take whatever the crappy weather gives them and still ride really well. i also had contis before and they were great too. can't go wrong with either one.

 

i have toyo proxes 4s on my TT at the moment... i love them... handle real well for an all season

 

I haven't had ContiPro Contacts but I've had ContiSport Contacts, and honestly I liked them better than any other tire I've ever had. I imagine the ContiPros are very good too. The Sport Contact tires were simply awesome on my Z - great treadwear, damn good in the rain (as good as they can be on a 515hp RWD car anyway), great grip, and almost zero flex on the sidewalls. Loved 'em.
