yea i was going to try the key one myself but its 8 degress out with a nast wind..

 

I just tried the unlocking over the phone trick and it worked a couple of times, I am amazed. I can't wait until my battery gets low so I can try that trick.

my battery on my key is beat so that might have been why it didnt work for me

 

i gotta try opening my A6 over the phone

 

it depends on how your key fob works. some are IR some are RF. Some cellphones will p/u RF frequencies and that is why this works, if your car uses IR then obviously your cell phone won't transmitt that signal.

This crap is a huge e-mail chain letter going around, I have seen it from 5 different peoiple in the last 5 days. they don't work.
