I've had this condition come over me in the past month. It all started with a soar eye, over the next five days got to the point that I could only make out shadows. the doc finnaly figured out what it was and started me on meds that acturally worked. A month later and my vision in that eye is back up to about 20/40 with floaters and shat that make it feel like your in a swarm of knats. just a minute ago, I was looking at the screen and one of them looke just like if you had a fly on your camera lense. just kinda anoying and shat. the worst part is that I have just compleated training to become an airline pilot and unless my vision returns to 20/20 that kinda gets flushed.

gennetic something or other. 8% of the white population has it and only a very few actyaly deveop semptoms. I just happend to be the lucky one. Its kinda like your own imune system thinks that something in your body dosen't belong and you can figure out the rest from there. One point for me!

 

keep us posted .. is there a surgery they can do? Will it ever be back to normal?

 

the doc thinks that I will make a recovory to my previous 20/10 but if it doesn't there is nothing they can do about it. So I will just memorise the eye chart.

 

DAMN you got that after having 20/10 (Best eye site possible) That is amazing.. I was tested and have 20/13 which was the highest the machine could test for..

 

yeah It really sucks. the eye drops are like milk and go down through the tear ducks and into the back of my mouth. worst taste ever.

 

yuck.. maybe you should lace them with alcohol.. and then you can get shittty and see yourself doing it!! LMAO

 

I'm sure that would feel great.
