Yeah that thing is gonna be nuts. Apparently the spur that got them to commit was when Dodge green-lighted the Viper's power increase to 600hp. And if I remember what I read correctly, they did decide to ressurect another name and call it the ZR1.

I don't say many cars are fast,but the Z06 is one fast freakin car bone stock that can be made 2 outrun almost anything for another 10 grand.and yet still out handle the majority of so called super cars on the market. I absolutely hate most American made attempts at fast cars cause they have the handling of a brick, the Corvette is in a class to itself dollar to hp,handling,braking,styling,reliability.

my friend has a z06 and took me for a ride. it was fun, although we weren't on good roads to go fast for very long, but i felt the g's from zero to 120!!

My first car was a 1985 corvette... something about 'vettes. They're great cars. A lot of fun, and have always been a huge bang for the buck.
Came close to scoring the deal of the century on a ZR1 when I was 19, but I missed out. Good thing, it would have likely bankrupted me in repairs.
I'd love to see the king of the hill return. Such amazing cars.
