I took out the loan and i pay for everything. insurance, gas, the loan and my mods. sure my dad signed on the loan cuz i dont have much credit but besides that i did it all by myself. My first car that i got was my grandmas 91 olds cultass convert and when that died on me (pretty quick) i drove my dads cars (dealer) till i found a car that i liked and wanted. when that happened i got this Audi and have never wished for anyother car.

I'm 16, with a brand new licennce and my parents bought me a B6 A4 1.8t. I really don't think this makes me spoiled. I don't work any jobs right now because I'm just enjoying my high school years as much as I can before I get to a point where a job is a must.
So, of course I don't know the value of a dollar. I've had everything bought for me, so how could I? I do know the value of things though. This car has shot up the list for me in terms of responsibility right next to my education as far as I'm concerned.
I think the value for money and value for things is completely different. I value and appreciate the car my parents gave me, and acknowledge the fact that I am very luck to be given such a gift. I am grateful for it aswell. I also intent to pay my parents back by getting into a good college, graduating and becoming succesful. I know that's going to mean a lot more to my parents than any amount of money could ever mean. That is also exactly how I intent to feel when it comes down to my children.

Im only 17 and got my Audi when i was 16 9 months or soo, My parents gave me 4k so spend on a car. I came up with another 3(that i had been saving) and that left me 1k short so my parents loaned me the money and i paid them off with in 1/2 a year. luckly my parents pay for my insurance and that gives me money to buy simple mod's, and gas.

teenagers or older adults....doesn't matter, really.
my opinion: weather you buy it yourself or it's a gift, as long as you appreciate things and respect both things AND people, then it doesn't really matter who paid for it.

Im 19 and i most definitely appreciate myA4, but i to had my mom pay for the car, hear me out tho. My mother is a school teacher and really couldnt afford for me to go to college. Luckily i play baseball, and am good enough at it to get a full ride to St Edwards university in austin. The yearly tution is a little over 22K and she odesnt have to pay a cent, for 5years!!The gas, apartment, food, etc. is all up to me, but not the insurance, i have WAY too many tickets to even afford it by itself. So maybe i didnt write the check, but i think it was well deserved.
