It really depends on what you do. I dated a girl that had a small Aztec sun on her back close to her shoulder. She either hadn't taken care of it(sunscreen, etc) or it wasn't a very good job in the first place. It was kinda faded and didn't have sharp lines. She would've looked better without that one, so watch out about where you get your tat.

I dated another girl that had her ex-husband's name in the bikini area and it was visible(to me) because she kept things trimmed down to racing stripe or less - so everytime I was in the area I was looking at "Brad". [:'(] So don't do anything stupid like that.

I wouldn't mind if my future(alleged, imaginary, proported) wife had a tat if it was cool.

Do you work in a stuffy kind of environment where a tat might not be the best thing?

Wow, thanks guys for all your input. I want somehting meaningful so like one of you said, I'm not rushing into it. There are a few things i am thinking about...... it just kinda scares me for a few of the reasons you guys mentioned like the one that was not done or taken care of well. Or just regretting what I get down the line. I doubt I'd work somehwere where it was overly unacceptable; however, like I said I am gonna get it on top of my hip or bikini line area so I would hope no matter where I work it would not be seen. Unless I have to fall back on stripping or something or business attire takes a MAJOR turn.... then it would probably be a great accessory, lol.

 

I think a nice small tat is hot on a girl... whether she is my future wife or not... just avoid the "tramp stamp".... not too fond on those... my $.02
