Default swoooooooooooshhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I love the fact I'm walking down the street and I have jets flying over my head.

One of the weirdest things ever is when a B-2 stealth bomber flies overhead - you can't hear it AT ALL until it's like half a mile away.

give it time, after about 6 months of hearing "the sound of freedom" it starts to **** you off (aka noise fatigue, usually from ground engine runs for 4+hrs, but more than one 2 ship a day gets old fast.

And when you're there long enough, you'll be able to tell exactly what type of plane it is strictly from the sound alone.

I used to be a helicopter flight engineer in the Army, and to this day, i can sit in my house and tell exactly what type of helicopter is flying over without even looking.

I work on airport property, and we have a restored P-51 and a Czech MiG in some of the hangars here. It's amazing to see these planes fly, especially the MiG.

All i can say is that i went to Wright State Unv. (yes, Wright Brothers in Dayton) which is next to the airforce base and i have all kinds of planes coming and going all day. Kind weird the first couple times a massive cargo plane takes off and you cant talk to the person 5ft from you

where i live, there is a army base, Ft. Benning, Ga about 20 miles from my house.. we have jets and helicopters flying around all the time... It gets annoying when a blackhawk flyin low altitude comes around, makes the house shake.. :| and sets off my car alarm lol...

I have saw a few jets haulin some butt around here.. its pretty cool. love the sound they make.
