How do you know? My mom is terrified that I'll catch it and die. Or something. I just can't be scared of the flu, though...

i went to the doc and they shoved a q tip 5 inches up my nose for a swab and it came back positive. i caught it really early and got on tamiflu. actually not feeling all that bad feels just like the regular flu and a really bad cold. funny thing is im not allowed to go to school for a few days tell my fever breaks for 24 hours with out the aid of meds.

You'll be fine. Couple people I work with got it and no body died. Some people just need something to be afraid of.
