We had one we nicknamed the "hoopty-mobile". It was a crappy looking Toyota that ran and ran and ran. In high school I had a friend who'd drive her parents 10 year old Cadillac. We called it "The Boat". Another good one is the Chevy Nova. They tried to market it in Mexico without changing the name. "No va." translates to "It doesn't go". A classic marketing mistake!
