Sunroof vs Moonroof

RE: Sunroof vs Moonroof
a moonroof is an opening covered by glass so u can see the sky and moon, and when combined with a sunroof it would be a sliding sunroof. Then a sunroof is a piece of the roof that can be open to open air so u can feel the sun.
is that right? what do i win?

RE: Sunroof vs Moonroof
To clarify.....
"Sunroofs" came first - sliding METAL panels
A "Moonroof" is a sunroof, but instead of the metal panel, you have a glass panel and a sunshade under it.
Technically, you can call one of those flip-up glass roofs a "Moonroof", but it's not the same thing. It also won't get you as much in return value as a sliding sunroof or moonroof would. Kelley Blue Book simply refers to them as "flip-roofs"
