RE: The SUNDAY morning thread...
morning, today I'm going to Cleveland to see the extended family.
And on the subject of football, I'm not in the mood too talk about that stuff right now but hopefully my Bengals will win today

Going to the Texans-Saints game today and it's pissin' down rain so the dome will be closed.
Which makes me wonder... It seems to me that a retractable roof can be an unfair advantage- I mean, say the Saints were especially good playing in the mud & rain, they close the roof & take that advantage away. Reliant Stadium's roof policy solely addresses fan comfort. Anybody know the NFL take on retractable roofs?
Just wonderin'...

Like I said, just curious not really "worried" about it.
There is a distinct difference to your examples though. The Green Monster for instance is just there - it can't be changed to favor the home team. Retractable roofs could, theoretically, be closed or left open based on what helps the home team the most. Just wondering if there is any official NFL input...

RE: The SUNDAY morning thread...
happy thanksgiving everyone. turkey is going in around noon. THAT is the one and only thing i worry about. nothing worse than shoe leather, dry as a bone turkey. it will have great flavor, though. i brined it for a day, now getting to dry it off and rub some different spices under the skin. wish me luck!!
if it turns out, i'll be selling individual portions on ebay!!
my pilgrim decendants were a little "off" if ya know what i mean...that's why we're celebrating today!
actually, we'll probably be doing a little something again on thursday, but it will involve a cow instead of a turkey. (gotta pay tribute to all the animals!)
i'll post the wine selections from the day with my personal ratings...for those of you who are interested.

I'm interested!!
Not too much going on today, here. Gonna go follow up on an application I turned in earlier this week;then my grandparents are coming over for supper;then I'm gonna sleep- for like 10 hours.
