it's has been a busy few weeks. I've definitely been slacking on my forum keeping up with, but...life is good

Back to normal life now. Officially done with the holidays and now were back to living the dreams.

Another Sunday has arrived.

Chilling at home with some coffee. wondering why my house is so quiet and why the neighbors house is so noisy (damn townhouse). looking forward to helping my kid start her school project that is due tomorrow. nothing like waiting until the last minute

Beau, my kids do the same thing. My house is momentarily quiet. Last weekend we gave the kids to friends for a sleepover so we could go out on a date. Reciprocated last night so we had 6 kids at my house overnight. Their kids just left, and now we're cleaning up in preparation for more kids coming over around noon. Why do we do this to ourselves?

Upside - it's mid January and its over 50 degrees here in upstate NY. Think the A4 is getting a bath today.

Spending another, hopefully, uneventful day at work. if it is eventful, I hope it will be worth it. anticipating watching the final NFL playoff games today. hope to see some good games (go Ravens!)

I've worked the last 32hrs straight and only have 16 to go!

 

Been a good weekend so far. Worked Friday night, spent yesterday doing things around the house and doing some running around. Wife's best friend stayed here last night with her 2-year-old daughter (who happens to be my 2-year-old's best friend). Had a couple others here and made a relaxing night of it. My 8-year-old bought me Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for his Xbox (I was a Kombat freak in college), so Bill (from our meets) stopped by and we spent an hour and a half beating the **** out of each other. Kinda funny to me since I am definitely not a gamer, but damn if I don't get pulled right back into that game...

Anyway, kids are headed for a play day at a friend's house, wife and little one are off and running for a girls' day with the friends, and I'm going to work for a few and settle in for the conference championship games. Looking forward to a quiet day.

 

Beau, you should be shot for that Ravens comment... Ray Lewis' last NFL game will be a LOSS in NEW ENGLAND! How sweet it is...
