That sucks Brad. Hopefully you get a pleasant surprise and manage to get some rest. Today is the first Sunday in recent memory that I didn't go into work at the crack of last night. Wife and baby went to Woodstock to visit friends. I stayed here (worked yesterday) with the two older ones. Took them to a small waterslide park yesterday afternoon, then out to dinner, to a car show, and to Barnes and Noble to pick out new books (like me, my kids thankfully are voracious readers). Getting ready to send them off on a play date and get going on swapping my center console over to a double din facelift setup. THEN I'll do a quick oil change and head to work.

 

I feel like such a slacker. got home from work this morning and crashed. Even though it isn't morning any longer, I did just wake up.

Another Sunday arrives!

Fall is starting to settle in. cool nights, pleasant days. starting my Sunday with some coffee and a healthy dose of avoiding work at work. also trying to quit smoking (weaning off). it is really driving me nuts.

Good luck on the quitting. I quit awhile ago (several months) and I still struggle with it almost every day, but it does get easier as time goes on...

But not waking up every morning with that dry throat, heavy chest, blah-ness is amazing...

At work for a little while today before I head out for the afternoon. My littlest turns 2 today, and her party starts right after the Giants-TB game, which was coincidence but works out nicely. Not exactly killing myself in here today, just slow and steady while I work through a pot of a nice Italian roast.
