Default Sun Burn!

Ok. I was out in the sun all day today and now I am really paying for it. I've been sun burned bad before but I think this takes the cake. Does anyone have any really good remedies? Tomorrow is going to be bad! All suggestions would be great!

Today was the last warm day of the year and the air show was in town. We were outside all day and I'm frickin' fried now. I'm Irish too which doesn't help at all. LOL. It's supposed to be cold all next week which should help out a little bit.

Yeah, I'm going to pick some up tomorrow. I thought I had some and got really excited and then I couldn't find it. Getting a sun burn has to be one of the worst feelings! I've got the great sun glass marks and you can see where I wear my watch.

Yikes... hopefully by some miracle the burn isn't as bad as you fear, by morning. I'm always paranoid when I shower, when I'm sunburned... I take like effin ice cold showers, because I remember once the water got hot when I was in the shower, and it was like... horrendous pain. That stuff... solarcaine I think (not sure I've spelled that properly) works well. Sort of numbs you...

i dont know if you have any women in your house or not but if they have lavender and chamomile essential oils add like twenty drops and some baking powder to a cold bath. then when your dry put a bunch of aloe vera on. the earlier you do this the better. i lived in south florida for 18 years and that did the trick everytime. o and keep on a steady supply of aspirin, it eases the pain and takes away the redness. And has ingredients to moisturize. WOW....sry i just had to do it...but i was being serious till the last sentence.

Here is my trick, and it works really well for me.

Step 1: Take Advil (or whatever your choice of pain medicine is)

Step 2: Get Hawaiin Tropic Aloe Vera (best that I have found)

Step 3: Buy Vitamin E pills (the gel kind) poke a hole in them with needles and rub the gel onto the sunburn. For me, it turns into a tan the very next day. Try it, it's worked for me and many other of my friends.

get some claritin too. if you breakout with sun poisoning at all it clears up the bumps pretty quick.
