Arrow Subaru pan

So at my vo tech we have to do a pan project so we can learn to do body work. First I started off with a flat piece of steel. Then bent the the edges at 90 degrees an inch in. I used a hammer and dolly to expand the metal. Then once it is at the desired hight, they crush it. So the challenge is to straighten it back to its original shape.

The underside where it was crushed and ripped and welded back together with a patch.

Then there was some old paint that I grabbed and it had way too much reducer in it so it came out with a texture. I think it looks cool. Then I topped it off with a badge from a wrecked forester that came in.

Figured this would be amusing to look at.

^ What he said.

But it sure does look damn cool. I'm impressed how you got it looking like that after they crushed it.

Yeah, its totally useless in every way. It can be used as a fence post top if there is a really wide piece of lumber....
