I got mine for 10 and its a 99.5 its not that hard to find, I only work summers but i saved enough to get my car its not that hard

well to start i bought it with 80k mi, its a 99 (i updated it to the new face lift), and they are out there but u just gotta look hard. It also need soem maintaince to it so i got that taken form the $11k dollar price. It also had a few dents and scrtaches that i knew i could buff out (and did).

agp96 I agree. I would just get the Legacy GT and put the money you save into the suspension and tires. The Spec-B is a great car but it costs a lot more than the regular Legacy. The only differences are red leather seats (no thanks), suspension (great suspension but the regular legacy GT handles very well also and with a few minor suspension mods it is great) and the wheels (nice too but not worth the hefty price tag).

All I did to my legacy is change the tires and put on springs and even with these minor changes the car handles much better. It really feels like a different car!

yea, exactly. ppl spend so much more just to get it from the dealer. Its out of control what they will pay

That certainly makes more sense. The extra cash for the Spec B is probably not worth the deal. But I just love the brick leather seats and that little plaque by the shifter. I don't think that is worth the extra 5K though[8D]
