i've know all about all the a3' allroads a4's a6's 8 the s class and rs class audi's, but i get lost when people start talking about the b4's b5's b6's and 7, and also the c5 and c6 and other c's for the a6. Can someone direct me to a site, or supply the information and history of all these different model names? Thanks

the Bs and Cs aren models, theyre chassis codes for the A models....b5 is the 96-01 a4....b6 si 02-05....etc......too drunkj to typ e it all out for you

ok.. simply put.. A4, A6 etc are the models... B5, B6, B7 are the generations of that model. B being the designation of new generations of the A4

B5 (a4): 1996 - 2001
B6 (a4): 2002 - 2005
B7 (a4): 2005.5+

I do not know the A6 and A8 codes... jazz, RS?
