4wd Jeep Wrangler FTW, i was on my way to auto body class at boces, and 7 cars were stuck in 3 inches of snow, i putted right along MWAHAHAH!

 

Here is the question to ask since no one else has. Who is going to pay for everything that is needed to get the Audi to winter running condition? If you are paying for it yourself then I can see your point of view and I would suggest trying to reason with your father. If you are asking your dad for the money then I can understand his point of view as my kids ask me for all kinds of stuff that they want, but want me to pay for it.

 

just be glad you have them, as in your parents, to annoy you... i wish i did.

I agree with TT. It's whoever is paying for the repairs that makes the call.

 

i'd actually get concrete costs on parts and/or labor for everything you need done, and be sure thats it, because costs add up. Maybe you have the money for the parts you outlined, but do you have enough extra if the repairs go over that?

Also, like a few have mentioned above, YOU better be the one footing the bill for these repairs, because if you're bitching that dad won't pay to repair the Audi just because YOU wanna drive it this winter, its time for a wakeup call.
