RE: Stupid Bikers...
No names, no towns... just stories.
Guy lives around the corner from me and has a group of friends, all with crazy crotch rockets. And I'm serious about the rocket part. He rides a 06' Hayabusa 1300cc. This guy's been riding for years. Cruises on a highway at around 150 just riding along. Now hes not one to rant about dumb stuff he does, but according to him he maxed it out at 217 on a local highway. Hes not the brightest bulb in the box and he knows it can only end badly. Just for another little eye-opener of a story... he taught a friend to ride, who then decided it was neccassary to go out and buy a bike the same day. On the ride home with this group of friends they decide to pick it up to about 160. Little did they know that he didn't exactly know how to take a turn at that speed (there all a-holes on that one), and he spilled into the median of the highway at 160-150. The silver lining happens to be that the median is a 5-10 meter wide grass field-type-thing.
Bike......totaled. Guy..................broken pinky, a couple bruises, shame.
There a "special" type of people.
