corrados, it is a classic, the best handling fwd ever (with coilovers).
What better than a mini, or an Integra Type R, (JDM VERSION), peugeot 205 gti, peugeot 106,???
only one of those cars are in the USA. and its would beat that out with coilovers
And what if you put coilovers on the integra?? have a level playing field at least!

That was my very first car. Great fun.

ha, you bring back memories.

We had some classic 'hot hatches' back there. The 205GTi was fun.

Others I remember are:
XR2
XR2i
Escort Cosworth = yikes
Renault 5 GT Turbo
Rover 216 GTi
Rover 220 Turbo Coupe
and the almighty Williams Clio!

Only bettered by Fiat's amazing 20V Turbo Coupe. What an amazing car, plus pretty as hell in my eyes, like a little Ferrari.

Yup!! XR2's were great!! Can't see the Corrado beating any of those in a handling contest though! Even the Integra type R is renowned for having the best fwd chassis on the planet!

I drove a 2001 integra type R... and it was pretty cool. However, Having driven a 93 corrado, with close to 10x the milage... I'd take the corrado. Better value, better car. Not as fast... likely doesnt handle like the type R... but wahtever. Buttery smooth, very predictable... mmm... one of the best test drives I've ever had.

we got roughly these stats when auto crossing at buds creek a few years ago, the modded corrado g60 with coilovers and sway bars pulled 1.18 lateral maximum. The Prelude sh with similiar mods pulled 1.12 the type R went 1.11. Whats funny is there was some really old volvo that pulled something like a 1.2Xg's. Thats nuts. But before you guys start ripping me about thes figures i want to let you know i also dont have a ton of confidence in it as it was measured via GTECH. Although auto-xing isnt where the rado shines its all bout the high speed stability that it offers and its competitors fall short.

And the corrado has tons you can do to it. There are quite a few aroung my are putting down between 350-600 hp. i also live in md, home of eastside and eip tuning. I know this guy that is making 580 whp and drives it to work everyday............psycho.

I would ship one from the UK, but as I am in upstate new York, it could be a bummer... Would you pay for tickets home, and all expenses paid for?
