Well, I found out today that I can't be hired at Wal-Mart because of my mom's position. She is one ofTWO people that trains new employees, so I appearantly can't be hired, EVEN THOUGH she isn't even a supervisor. It's seriously bullsh!t. But anyway, she called the Springfield store and had them put my name in there, but if I get a job there, I'll be driving ~65 miles each day...which, as much as I love my car, would really suck.

So I think tomorrow I'm gonna go check out a couple places in Lincoln, which would only have me driving ~45 miles each day. I'll probably check out Autozone and O'Reiley's Auto Parts, but there's one place that I'm really hoping for: there is a small, strictly pre-owned dealership here that carries mostly Euro and Japanese cars. My dad kind of knows one of the owners, and we bought a car there a few years back. I know I can't sell cars or anything, but I can at least clean them, answer phones, and what-have-you. Plus, if I did get a job there, I'm sure I would learn a thing or two. Once I get to talking to someone there, I'm sure they'll be able to see how much I love cars, so I can only hope...

Starting is obviously minimum wage, but I've got experience, so I could get around $8.50/hour starting out.
