you missed one, you should have added, " I am a stay at home dad, and love it"

My wife is a High School Physics/Chem. teacher, when I left my job(shortly after they fired me), It became a nececity that I stayed home (she had the Insurance).....

It has been the best 18 Mo. of my life, Because I am a Stay at Home Dad, I was able to start a business......

again i'm w/ Toff
i don't think staying home is hard as far as the work of the house or kids
i think the hard part would be feeling like you weren't attached to the outside world

AWD, are you crazy? you would not have me if i made more than you? its good to have someone earning the same or as well as you, less stress, you could get over your ego

Well I am a stay at home dad, and my wife is also a teacher. Our son is almost two and he is a holy terror with regards to keeping up with him. I wouldn't say that housework with a toddler is a piece of cake by anymeans, and until you have done it, you have no idea. When I lost my job and our son was born we made the decision for me to stay home and take care of the kids. I thought it would be easy, but its as mentally tough as any job I have ever had. I worked for Sony for six years and managed a small alarm company for about a year, and while they could be stressfull at times, this takes the cake, although I wouldn't change jobs for anything and my wife is jelous. Its a blast, and the winter has been tough, but when springtime rolls around it will be much easier to get out and down to the park for a while everyday.

I don't get this.

If she was always pointing this out in some kind of mean spirited way to put you down, then you should dump her. But that's a whole different issue of being with a biatch. If she just happens to make more, then who cares?

its not a bad thing if your wife or GF makes more then you, it a great thing but, i guess the way i was raised and stuff, i would probly get another job or invest money anything to make more then her.
