Stand up jet ski riders
All the snow's got me missing riding my stand ups, just wondering how many of you guys out there ride stand up's, aside from germans cars there my favorite thing to ride/drive, i have two, a 1990 yamaha superjet, and an old school 1977 kawasaki js440, I'm not a fan of sit downs at all w/ the exception of riding with girls of course, so how many of you guys out there ride. - Nick

RE: Stand up jet ski riders
don't have a jet ski but I do love boats and have been trying to convince my family to finally get one.
I'm almost ready for spring, I'm learning to water ski and wakeboard in the spring and am ready to begin, almost.

RE: Stand up jet ski riders
Just sold my double and single seaters(Seadoo xp and hx). When I used to go to the river, we pretty much had everything, boats, sit downs and stand ups. It was freakin funny watching friends try to ride my HX, they couldn't get back on when they fall off. A friend who has been riding stand ups for years couldn't even get back on, I had to ride his stand up to get him then we switched. Stand ups are a blast to ride, ridden a superjet and a kawi sx pro, but limited on distance sincethey can't hold that much gas. The 3 seaters (also known as water couches) gets boring after 45 seconds. Seadoo HX and Yamaha waveblasters are freakin fun, they're made to lean when turning, I used to dragmy knee on the water when doing high speed turns.......man, I miss riding now [&o]

RE: Stand up jet ski riders
I've heard Hx's are pretty fun, but i've never riden one. My friends and I all pretty much have atleast one stand up, either a square nose superjet or an old kaw, its always fun to try and get them all together aleast once a year and ride, but someones is usually broken. The fastest stand up i've riden was a 97' superjet that was running around 1100cc there was seriously nothing stock on it besides the hull. This springs project will hopefully be 24-7 footholds and a homemade trim kit rigged up from a waveraider pump for the superjet, so i can attempt to start doing real tricks.
