Default SPLAT!

I am on my way to work this morning and I realize I am a little late, I get to this flat straight stretch and decide to open the 6 up a little. Next thing I know I am going 115, which since getting chipped is an effortless task that happens in a matter of seconds. All of a sudden I see a black spec in the peripheral of my left eye and SPLAT, little tweety meets the glass! Lol lucky for me there was no crack or damage. Just a big yellow streak on my windshield. HAHAHA. That was pretty intense because it freaked the crap out of me at first but then I just started laughing. Lol anyone else smoke a bird with their windshield before?

I got two (yes, two) at the same time yesterday in my van. Now I have a huge crack in my windshield just in time for inspection! Hooray!

I had one hit the leading edge of my passenger side door, right above the mirror. Scared the sh*t out of me. Didn't splatter, or leave a dent....thank god.

I travel all over the countryworkingfor tradeshows and conventions, and i always see birds flyinto the huge panes of glass at the convention centers. Quite amusing.

I had a crow bounce off the roof (one of the 2 foot raised roofs) on my van. Big hollow thud and it scared the **** out of me since when something hits the fairly thin fiberglass it makes a huge noise.

When I was 16 the family was traveling up to ND to visit my uncle. Well I just got my permit and my dad had me drive so he could nap. Cook'n along the country road about 75mph and all the sudden BAM! Bird bounced off the corner of the hood and up the windshield. All laughed and dad went back to sleep. 5min later BAM! another one off the corner of the windshield and everyone is really laughing now. 5-10min after the 2nd.......you guessed it BAM! another bird off the hood and that's when I decided I wasn't driving down that road anymore.
