Default Sound program?

Is there a sound program that can rip whatever is coming through your speakers? If a sound program is open and playing music, is there something out there that can record this on the fly?

well, if you are doing this via computer, then you can always just hardwire them. Get a recording program like CoolEdit Pro or something and plug the 'line in' into the 'line out' jacks with a male/male sound cable. CoolEdit can probably do this through the software, but I haven't figured out how.
