How long are you planning on living there? And what is the disadvantage of the 3 car garage again? You can add to the landscaping later if you think there isn't enough.

if you go with a lift make sure you tell the contractor because they will have to pour different concreat... totally the way to go... you can get used ones in any state...

Trust me when I tell you that a production builder isn't going to pour a different kind of concrete. If it is a custom home, then he's got a shot.

he should, you need a different grade concreat or it needs to be thicker, my friend just went through it..

go with whatever will yield the best results in the future. whatever is the better investment. personally, the value of the property increasing is more important than a lift. although you can stick one in there with option 2 anyways...

attached or detached ?

i say go with #2 walk out basments are nice, and the resale is deffnatly important

and if you need more room in the garage just kick wifeys car outside till your project is done
