A lot of people don't know this, but Van Gogh was actually a heavy absinthe drinker during the time period in which he cut his ear off and mailed it to a prostitute as a present.

i have some absinthe and let me tell you, it is strong as hell. i bought the Stong 68 version. 68% alcohol and the most amount of thujone you can have. that is the strangest drunk i have ever been. it is very weird. i was not at all incoherent during the entire night. it was kind of like being high. everything is very clear, at least for me it was. just make sure that you dont take shots of it, it will mess you up big time. it is a good sipping alcohol. the whole louche aspect of it is pretty cool too.

 

Waurd. I haven't had the stuff in years, so I'm anxiously awaiting getting another go.

Plus as a way of saying "sorry we took forever to get your order out", they're sending a collectors set of slotted spoons (for the sugar burning), and a few of the nifty glasses for me. R0X0Rz.

 

did you order it from alandia.de? i probably wouldnt buy it again, mostly because its so damned expensive to get it shipped here. almost $60!

 

Was that for just the shipping or the whole order including shipping?
