So i got my copy of the Departed last Tues.. It was sold out or only had full screen edition [&:]...
but finally I found it after 3 diff. stores...

I still havent opened it up - I wanted to watch the
original movie it was based on "Infernal Affairs" first..

INFERNAL AFFAIRS

Has any one else seen Infernal Affairs? Its a Hong-Kong cop thriller...
#1 movie over there for a while. GRRREAT MOVIE..
I cant wait to see the departed & compare.

 

Haven't seen either - though it's coming today from Netflix! can't wait!

 

lol - man u have alot of netflix to catch up on...



btw - Flags of our father is good stuff... battle scenes are intense.

but hands down - Letters from Iwo Jima was the better...
defenitely cool how u see one point of view in Flags, and then the other
side in Letters...sometimes they even use the same camera angles etc...

 

I rented it last week from my local Redbox - $1 a day - very cool - burned it that night - Dual layer exact copy : )
I'll try to rent flags of our fathers this weekend -

[The Departed was a] Good movie. I found it to be over rated.

 

loved the departed, thought it was a bit long, but overall it was Jack and Scorsese at their best.

 

Dude, I loved that movie. And I have to say after about halfway through Departed it was a mirror image, even the dialogue

I was actually disappointed in the Departed... I figured Scorcese would put some kind of twist on it to try and improve.
