Thumbs down So my bro could be in a lot of trouble....

... from Warner Brothers Studios!

You probably know that the movie The Hangover just got released on DVD and my brother downloaded it... well somehow WB's tracked it and today they shut the internet down at the house and when my dad called to find out why they said they had just gotten a letter from WB saying that he had downloaded it and they were going to sue my brother, my dad, and the internet company!

Hopefully it's more of a scare tactic and they are not going to actually go through with it. Have any of you read the copyright warnings??? That could be bad!

Contact them and try to get it thrown in with their defence/suit:

At the very least, a good lawyer can get the courts to await the outcome...

just have him say he wanted to have a "backup" copy, in case his dvd got damaged (of course, you'd hafta find a receipt for purchase of the dvd PRIOR to the d/l date).

Not good. Whatever happens, at the bottom line, they're right and he's wrong - the copyright laws and piracy laws are on their side.
