So I hit a fork in the road...
Well, my TT has started to give me a lot of headaches... my clutch is going, need to do timing belt (just hit 90k) and a ton of other onesies and twosies that are going to nickel and dime me to death... however, i love this car, and if i stick with it im going to fully build it motor and all on a gt3076... but im sure a big turbo set up will also give me more headaches but everything will be new pretty much...
however, option 2...
i think i want to move on, settle down, and just get something and leave it be... i have been looking at a 2010 a4 6sp man, black with sports package for 35k new...
i just dont know what to do, because i want to really settle down, maybe find that lucky girl, and begin to move on in life away from the whole modded car scene. but that little part of me wants to have a 500awhp little tt monster to spank quite a few people...
oy vey, help

I think if you do this as a hobby, it's hard to get away from it. Especially when you get a car with potential and still frequent the forums.
There are times I say to my self that I wanted something that I can keep stock but I know I'll find a way around it to start modding.

i'd keep the TT and mod it a little bit. the A4 is nice but think about how much you could save buying a used one in that year a couple of years down the line. or another option would be to keep the TT and buy the A4. save up and mod the crap outta the TT lol. you could have a weekend car and then have the A4 as a DD on the weekdays

Follow this wise man's advice.
You'd be a fool to drop 35k on a brand new Audi when you could likely get an 09 (or wait a bit longer and get a 2010) for 8k less. Put that saved money aside, or use half of it to buy some used coilovers and killer wheels. The new A4 is perfect with a drop and some 19's (or 20's).

NEVER buy a brand new ANYTHING... especially now. Buy last year's model and save thousands or the year before that - most manufacturers warrantys get passed onto the next owner. But you'll be paying a great deal more for something that has a new car smell
