My take on the whole rich/poor thing is that everyday that I awake (as opposed to NOT waking up on a given morning), I awake with an opportunity to make things better. Either for ME, or, someone else less fortunate than I, if teh chance presents itself. In exchange for teh gift of this days life, I hope to give to God something worth at least as much as MY life, in exchange. I'm not always successful in my attempt, but I always try...
