Unfortunately as the judge rediculously explained to us -
the ticket is the notice to show up in court..
u plead not guilty in court though - doesnt the judge issue you a court date right there?

thats not how it works in CT.. every state it a bit different.. on our tickets you get to plea not guilty then it gos to a review they send you a letter asking if you have any info to add to the case and give you a reply date, then you get another letter in the mail telling you if you have a court date or not.. or you can plea builty and send in the money.

While working at a restaurant in college,I frequently had to park on the street in an area where parking tickets were handed out liberally. Got pulled over one day for a legit moving violation, cop runs my plate and saysI have an outstanding warrant for my arrest (huh?). Hauls me to the pokie. I always took care of my obligations. Only thingI can figure out is that some doofus took a ticket off my windshield and threw it away....
