The Snowboarder/Skier thread
So I saw on the news yesterday that snowmaking has begun at a couple ski areas (Loveland, Arapahoe Basin, both should be open in like 2 weeks) and I'm getting amped for the new season. So i want to know where you ride, whether it's your home mountain or somewhere you went on vacation to let us know where you like to go and what you prefer to ride down on. Just don't say ski-blades or ski-bikes those are ghey. I want to punch the out-of-towners who ride those stupid *** things.
Post a pic if you got it.
Personally i hit up Keystone the most followed by Vail and Breckenridge. Always on a snowboard. Keystone is like 65 miles from my front door to theirs, about an hour drive there and back, so I can make it 40+ days/year.

Lucky, my mountain out here won't be ready til around Thanksgiving lol. It's actually going to be about 100 today. I board usually in Big Bear but me and some friends are planning a trip to Mammoth and I think I'm headed out to CO this year to board with my cousins. I've skied at Breckenridge, Vail and Copper Mountain but not boarded yet. I like Vail the best.

Breck is dope, the best day I had last year was there on a Tuesday. 2 1/2' of freshy = epic win

Damn man what happened? My buddy in the pic above blew his knee out too and he can still go. He did it in Feb and was ready to go by the next Jan. And he waited until Aug to have surgery. He tore his ACL and partially tore his MCL, Doc told him his reconstructed knee would be stronger than it was before.

Jeff I'm jealous of those ARV's I demo'd a pair once and they were sick but just to wide for what I normally ride (Yay midwest corn snow)
I'm on a pair of Rossi Sprayer FS (not to be confused with scratches, mine are the freeride ones but at the end of this season I'm thinking of picking up some head Mojo's or maybe if I'm feeling lucky some AR6's)
ignore the stupid pose I was trying to look like an idiot, and the blue hat was because i was gonna get 08 Völkl Walls but decided to get a D60 instead.
rest of the outerwear is Oakley I forget the names of the coat and pants but they are ridiculously warm, I'll wear the pants and boxers and be comfortable all day long.
my home mound of dirt is the illustrious Perfect North slopes in indiana or Mad River Mountain in Bellfountaine, Oh (not to be onfused with Mad River Glen) they both suck, but for Ohio they work. Went out west for the first time last year and I'm def going back again this year.
