Having skied in most of the areas in Utah, I think it is only Alta that is ski only. Its my favoriate place to ski in Utah.

I am going to Squaw Valley in 3 weeks, I cant wait!!!!!
Thats right. Park City started to have snowboarders when they had the Olympics.

I agree. I went there year before last and it was incredible. Started at SnoBird that day and came over then all afternoon and next day at Alta. Haven't tried boarding yet but might next time.

You can't snowboard on Aspen Mtn. You can on Buttermilk, The Highlands and Snowmass which are part of Aspen Resort but the main mtn is off limits. Taos, Aspen and Park City, UT I believe are 3 of the 4 that don't allow it. And Keystone only started allowing snowboarding in like '98 or '99.

Are you sure, Aspen has 4 mountains right, Buttermilk, Snowmass, Highlands, and Aspen mountain (ajax). I know we rode them all and we had snowboarders with us all the time, maybe they started this year, because I know what I rode and my snowboarder friends never got in trouble for it, the gondola's even had racks for snowboards.

i cold be wrong but I think I'm right

You're probably right. It's been a long time since I went there (due to no snowboards). It probably changed when they started doing the Xgames there.

hey, where do you ride in Ohio?
My "home mountain" if you will, was Alpine Valley up near Cleveland but I've been known to hit up Boston Mills and Brandywine as well. I have yet to check out Mad River or anywhere her in Columbus. I'd be down for a trip if you don't mind skiing w/ a beginner!
