$250 for a cert jump, at an airfield in West VA, away from the cities. If you get into the rural area's, it's cheaper. $250 x 8 = $2,000 for certification, then it's all downhill from there... I've still got my 2 jumps logged in the book, so when I want to start trying it again, I'm good to go. You don't have to do it all at once, I think you have up to a 3 year grace period, from you're first jump, to get certified.

im def. gonna think about getting cert. but not for the first jump. Im gonna go tandem for my first. Ill feel better that if i die the instructor does too.

As far as SCUBA i am Open Water certified and i can dive on my own. So after i get sky diving certified ill have to jump from a plane and land in the water... Halo style

well if your cert in scuba.. then you know that doing that is impossible.. the pressure changes would eff you up.. you actually arent supposed to dive within 24 hours of riding in an airplane.. thats why all the military peeps when they do water jumps its reall freaking low.. and i mean LOW!!!

except it is possible if u have a pressurized suit. In the tomorrow never dies they do a halo jump, and it was actually done by a guy from the Navy seals. U would have to stay within the first 10 feet for 2 min to pressurize. But the SCUBA book never say anything about flying before diving only about diving then flying later COULD be bad, not that it is bad. Also it didnt say dont skydive into the ocean and then SCUBA. Not that they would think it needs to be in the book thou.
