I said; those who are here paying taxes (a lot), learning English, and that have a clean criminal record should be able to stay.
Don't generalize....sure there are those who do not pay taxes and only get benefits....but I'm not talking about them....People should know that not all of the illegals here are uneducated...
Many of them did try to adjust their status, but because of our broken immigration system and unscrupulous lawyers, they could not.

 

The only genralization that I am making is that our laws should be respected and enforced.

In my view, every immigrant who enters this country illegally has a criminal record.

you seem to think that we should allow millions of people to migrate to this country illegally, and then the ones who pay taxes and dont commit crimes should be given citizenship.

I believe in a system of law and order.
