thanks. might be able to stop down friday sometime just for the hell of it. my parents are near Norwich, its a little drive to chenango bridge (I think thats where you said you were from), but considering my ENTIRE FAMILY will be at my parents house, I'll NEED to get out for a while.

Heheh, yeah I know the feeling. By all means come on by, even if you want to pull the car in, clean the windshield, and have a beer. Anyone needs a breather on Thanksgiving weekend. I'll PM you my phone number in a minute - just give me a buzz and we'll set something up.

Put in 4hrs to tear it down last night. Stopped there, figured I'd grab a bunch of paper towels and degreaser from work rather than use up this guys stuff. Went fairly smooth so far.
Rather than replace an intake and exhaust gasket, I pulled the head with them still attached. Manifold to turbo bolts even came out w/o TOO much fight. No penetrant, and didn't even have to use the breaker bar.
Took a few pics, but when I went to upload them to my computer, I couldn't find them on the memory card, so I'll have to take some more.

ouch. put in like, 5.5hrs today, and still need to put the timing belt on, and the valve cover, and all the **** that goes on top of it.
Im using this as an opportunity to make a SAI blockoff plate though. Clean up this F'n engine bay a bit.
