Default Shoulder surgery

For a little history, about a year ago I was helping my roommate move in and I ended up separating my shoulder. When I went to the Doc's office, he did the poke-and-prod and said I ripped apart some tendons/ligaments/internal crap along wih dislocating my collarbone at both ends.

I went to physical therapy for more poke-and-prod appointments and got some ultrasound therapy. Felt better.

Deployed from May-July and had some serious pain in my shoulder. Returned home and went to the docs office.

Went to physical therapy (aka PT, aka pain and torture) for 2 months. Nothing got better. The pain actually spread from a central point on my shoulder to my neck, elbow, and shoulder blade.

Got recommended to orthopedics. Did another poke-and-prod session. Went and got an MRI w/athrogram (which really hurts when they use the needle like a joystick).

Doc can't see anything wrong.

Which means I get reconstructive surgery next week and I'll be off from work for 4 weeks.

The worst part is that I won't even be able to drive for a week. [&:]

yea ive seperated both of my shoulders a few times (ski teams and what not). not a fun experience, but luckily i have healed completely after each one, so no surgery is required. i do have a crazy big bump on both shoulders though. makes for some good stories.

good luck with the rehab. dont half *** it. the harder you work at getting it better, the more liekly it is to heal stronger than before.

enjoy the time youve got off.

What do you think I do at work?

What kind of massage? My collarbone isn't even connected to anything at either end. I did 2 months of ultrasound therapy and it made the pain go away, but as soon as I stopped, the pain came right back.

Thanks for all the support guys (and any girls that might have replied).
