RE: Safari for Windows
too funny - seems there's a glitch
downloaded okay - even exported my bookmarks - but can't log into AF due to the â„¢ attached to my screen name... lol...
must be some other key sequence for Apple to make that... will have to look that up [>:]

RE: Safari for Windows
Why would a windows used want Safari? We have good web browsers. The only "advantage" to safari that I have heard is that the page rendering is supposed to be faster. I don't have a dedicated T3 line to my PC, so rendering isn't the limiting factor for page display speed. Actual page rendering would go from almost instantaneous using Firefox to.... wait for it..... almost instantaneous using Safari. There is no point in speeding up things that don't cause a noticeable delay. Should we all use shortened wires to the ignition in out cars so they start faster? All that slack in the wires is making our cars start slower!
a charitable review of Safari.

RE: Safari for Windows
Yay! Now all us Windows users can experience the suck of Apples browser for ourselves! It's as if they took everything that was horrible about IE for the Mac, and repackaged it with two quarts of assrape and a pint of toenail clippings, and called it a browser. It is good at making Firefox look that much better, though!
